That is basically inbound marketing for recruiters.   Why should recruitment agencies have an inbound marketing strategy?   It’s all about being an expert in your niche, so that people come to you – instead of you going to them (also known as outbound marketing). But, recruitment is tough… so how can you get clients coming to you?   Just getting someone to apply for a job is one thing… but inbound marketing is all about supporting, helping and empowering your niche sector. Recruitment agencies grow when candidates and clients say amazing things about the service they received.   Think of *marketing* as a football team. - For a football team to be successful, you need every player on the pitch. - Every player, ideally, would be world-class. - Each player should produce top quality football. - You’ll be able to get away with 1 or 2 players having a poor game, but not for long. - Players have their tactics and directions, for each game. - Training and development is a huge reason for results. - Your team needs only a few loyal fans to be a success.   In marketing… - Your players consist of … Email, calling, Job ads, blogs, SEO, PPC, social media and much more. - Each player must be utilised well. - If your players don’t produce the goods, you won’t win the game (or get any leads).   You must ATTRACT candidates and clients… ENGAGE with them… and DELIGHT your customers.
